The team

Theo Psirakis, the founder of Diamond Food Services, is a proud and determined man. Over the past 35 years, Theo has either owned his own butcher shops or worked in many of the most highly regarded meat companies in Australia, occupying senior positions.

Today, Theo still works alongside his men on the boning and packing floor at the company and considers himself to be ‘one of the boys’.

Working alongside Theo are his sons, Chris, and Paul, who spent time in the printing and telecommunication industries, where they both gained valuable business experience, which they were able to bring to Diamond Food Services. The three have formed a formidable partnership, combining tradesman like skills with business acumen and a tangible commitment to providing their customers with a quality product. They now have one of the busiest lamb supply companies in Australia.

The company

Diamond Food Services was established in 1999 at a time in which the meat industry in Sydney lacked metropolitan lamb boning/processing rooms that food services companies could rely on to produce quality fresh and/or vacuum packed products. This, combined with Theo’s love of lamb due to his Greek heritage, paved the way for his company and his unique vision to form. Thankfully, it was not long before Diamond Food Services was recognized for its high quality produce and HACCP Accredited facility and began servicing all of the major players in the food service industry on a daily basis.
